HP Sues LG, Philips Over Disc Drive Price-Fixing Scheme

Law360, Washington (October 24, 2013, 7:37 PM EDT) -- Hewlett-Packard Co. slammed LG Electronics Inc., Koninklijke Philips NV, Pioneer Corp. and various subsidiaries with an antitrust suit in Texas federal court Thursday for their alleged involvement in a massive optical disc drive price-fixing conspiracy, claiming the scheme caused them to pay inflated prices for the products.
