Fla. Looks To Boost Aeropsace, Tech With Israel Partnership

Law360, New York (October 25, 2013, 6:25 PM EDT) -- Florida Gov. Rick Scott and Israeli Consul General Chaim Shacham have signed a memorandum of understanding to support research, development and commercialization of aerospace and other technology projects between Florida and Israel, it was announced Thursday.

Under the MOU, Florida will commit $1 million that will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Israel to create a $2 million joint research fund that aims to expand economic development, the governor’s office said in a statement Thursday.
