Time-Share Mogul Ordered To Pay $5M For Battery

Law360, New York (February 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal jury has awarded a former employee of time-share tycoon David Siegel $5.4 million for alleged battery at the hands of the multimillionaire.

The jury in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida ruled that Siegel had committed battery against Dawn Georgette Myers, a former sales associate and spa manager at Siegel’s Westlake Gates time-share resort.
