Vivendi Pays $1.4B For Lagardere's Stake In TV Station

Law360, New York (October 28, 2013, 5:18 PM EDT) -- French entertainment giant Vivendi SA has agreed to buy out the Lagardere Group's 20 percent stake in its TV network Canal+ France for about €1 billion ($1.4 billion), the companies announced Monday, laying to rest a long-running battle over the station.
