Texas Seeks Emergency Stay Of Judge's Abortion Ruling

Law360, Dallas (October 29, 2013, 4:21 PM EDT) -- Texas on Tuesday asked the Fifth Circuit for an emergency stay of a federal judge’s ruling striking down part of the state’s abortion law as unconstitutional and requesting the appeal be heard in January, arguing the district court decision used an improper standard of review.
