Texas Group Seeks $60M Cleanup Bond For Luminant Mine

Law360, Dallas (October 30, 2013, 5:23 PM EDT) -- A citizens group on Monday asked the Texas Railroad Commission to require an Energy Future Holdings Corp. subsidiary to post a $60 million cash bond for the cleanup of one of its coal mines, contending the company’s expected bankruptcy makes it a financial risk.
