Delphi Objects To EEOC's ADA Claim

Law360, New York (February 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Delphi Corp. has asked a Manhattan bankruptcy court to disallow and expunge a proof of claim filed by the U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Commission related to the company's sick-leave policy, which the EEOC says runs afoul of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Delphi filed an objection on Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, asking Judge Robert D. Drain to reject the government's Feb. 22 bid for leave to file a late claim.
