UK Watchdog Nixes Virgin Media 'Unlimited' Download Ads

Law360, New York (October 31, 2013, 2:40 PM EDT) -- The U.K.’s Advertising Standards Authority on Wednesday banned two ads claiming Virgin Media Ltd. broadband services offer "unlimited" downloads even though the services were subject to a traffic management policy that slowed downloads after users passed a data threshold, saying they were misleading.
