UK Regulator Blasts Colgate Over Toothbrush Swap Promotion

Law360, New York (October 31, 2013, 3:04 PM EDT) -- The U.K.'s Advertising Standards Authority on Wednesday prohibited Colgate-Palmolive Ltd. from repeating a July promotion that offered consumers who visited a train station stand a chance to swap their current electric toothbrushes out for new Colgate electric toothbrushes, saying the ads for it were misleading.
