Judge Shakes Head At Scruggs' Requests

Law360, New York (February 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The federal district judge presiding over the bribery case involving Richard “Dickie” Scruggs has batted down a host of motions by the famed tort lawyer and the other defendants, paving the way for the case to continue proceeding to trial at the end of March.

U.S. District Judge Neal Biggers Jr. officially denied an array of defense motions, including one to suppress wiretap evidence, one for separate trials and one for a change of venue, on Wednesday.
