Harassed Man Takes Data-Broker Liability Suit To High Court

Law360, New York (November 1, 2013, 5:21 PM EDT) -- A New York man who claims a data broker illegally sold information gleaned from DMV records to a stranger who later tracked down and harassed him asked the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday to review whether such companies can be held strictly liable under federal law.
