Veritas Capital Will Pay $381M For Electronic Parts Co.

Law360, New York (November 4, 2013, 2:25 PM EST) -- A fund run by private equity investor Veritas Capital Fund IV LP will pay $381 million in cash to scoop up electronic parts supplier Anaren Inc., beating out a previous $300 million bid by Vintage Capital Management LLC, according to a statement made by Anaren Monday.

Under the merger agreement, Anaren will be acquired by a Veritas affiliate for $28 per share in cash, reflecting a premium of approximately 12.4 percent over Anaren’s closing price on Friday, for a total transaction value of approximately $380. ...
