Wal-Mart Says Quick Appeal Won't Advance Post-Dukes Case

Law360, New York (November 4, 2013, 7:09 PM EST) -- Wal-Mart Stores Inc. asked a Florida federal judge on Friday not to grant an appeal to women whose gender bias class claims were dismissed, saying the applied precedent required dismissal and that an interlocutory appeal will not materially advance the litigation.
