Kerry Says No Iran Deal Better Than 'Bad' Deal

Law360, New York (November 8, 2013, 6:59 PM EST) -- Negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program ended Sunday in Geneva, Switzerland without an agreement, but Washington's top diplomat said the talks had "narrowed" differences between the U.S., its allies and the Islamic republic.

Secretary of State John Kerry said despite the failure of the discussions between Iran and the so-called P5+1 countries, the outcome of which could eventually determine whether the U.S. offers limited sanctions relief, a “significant amount of progress” had been made.
