SEC Taps Ex-Prosecutor To Head Chicago Office

By Jeff Sistrunk (November 5, 2013, 10:17 PM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has hired former federal prosecutor David A. Glockner as director of its regional office in Chicago, the agency announced Tuesday.

Glockner, who most recently headed Chicago-based digital risk management and investigations firm Stroz Friedberg LLC, spent 25 years as a prosecutor for the U.S. attorney's office for the Northern District of Illinois, including 11 years as chief of the criminal division, the agency said. He will oversee the enforcement and examination operations of the SEC's Chicago office, which covers a nine-state area and is the agency's second-largest regional outpost.
