Navy Chaplains Ask DC Circ. To Block Promotion System

Law360, Washington (November 6, 2013, 1:42 PM EST) -- A group of military chaplains who claim that the Navy Chaplain Corps is biased against certain Christian denominations asked the D.C. Circuit on Wednesday to enjoin its practice of promoting chaplains by secret ballot, while the three-judge panel showed skepticism that the case warranted the preliminary injunction.
