Analyst To Plead Guilty In SAC Insider Trading Case

Law360, New York (November 6, 2013, 7:38 PM EST) -- Former equity research analyst Sandeep Aggarwal will plead guilty in a case alleging he passed inside information to SAC Capital Advisors LP about a 2009 Web search partnership between Microsoft Corp. and Yahoo Inc., according to a Monday court notice.

A Nov. 4 docket entry in the case, signed by U.S. Magistrate Judge Ronald L. Ellis, indicated Aggarwal has reached a plea deal. He was charged in July with one count of conspiracy for allegedly tipping former SAC portfolio manager Richard Lee about the planned agreement...
