KWK Says Judge 'Made A Mockery' Of Keystone Agreement

Law360, Los Angeles (November 6, 2013, 6:29 PM EST) -- KWK Management LP told the Eighth Circuit on Tuesday that a Missouri federal judge "made a mockery" of its easement agreement with Transcanada Keystone Pipeline LP when she let the oil company enter KWK-owned property to repair a potentially defective pipeline segment.

KWK, which had allowed Keystone to use some of its land to work on the controversial pipeline, said U.S. District Judge Carol E. Jackson nullified the agreement's express boundaries and infringed the landowner's constitutional rights when she granted Keystone a preliminary injunction in August....
