Senators Push DHS Inspector General To Resign

Law360, New York (November 7, 2013, 3:07 PM EST) -- Two senators have called for the resignation of Deputy Inspector General of Homeland Security Charles Edwards amid “dozens” of allegations that Edwards misled investigations and misused public resources while in office.

Chairman Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., and Ranking Member Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., of the Senate Subcommittee on Financial and Contracting Oversight asked Edwards to resign in light of his failure to cooperate with the committee’s investigation into his alleged wrongdoing.
