Therapist Convicted In $55M Medicare Fraud Gets 10 Years

Law360, New York (November 7, 2013, 5:19 PM EST) -- A former therapist for Miami-based mental health clinic Biscayne Milieu was sentenced on Wednesday in Florida federal court to 10 years in prison for over $55 million of fraudulent Medicare billings.

U.S. District Judge Marcia G. Cooke also ordered Jose Rojo to pay more than $11 million in restitution, jointly and severally with his co-defendants, and to serve three years of supervised release.
