Cravath Snags Ex-Head Of DOJ's Oil Spill Task Force

Law360, New York (November 8, 2013, 6:01 PM EST) -- The former No. 2 official at the U.S. Department of Justice’s criminal division and director of the Deepwater Horizon Task Force, has joined Cravath Swaine & Moore LLP in New York as a partner in its litigation department, the firm said Wednesday.

Attorney John D. Buretta returns to Cravath after spending more than 10 years with the DOJ, where he most recently served as the principal deputy assistant attorney general and chief of staff from February until his October departure.
