Law360, New York (November 12, 2013, 1:41 PM EST) -- Valassis Communications Inc. filed a $560 million complaint against News Corp. on Friday alleging the media conglomerate has continued to manipulate the market for coupon inserts and in-store advertisements in spite of a $500 million settlement the parties struck three years ago.
The complaint, filed in Michigan federal court, alleges News Corp. has employed a slew of anti-competitive business methods to freeze Valassis out of the market and maintain a de facto monopoly on the two advertising methods.
