High Court Mulls Scope Of SOX's Whistleblower Protections

Law360, New York (November 12, 2013, 9:12 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments Tuesday in its first ever Sarbanes-Oxley Act whistleblower case, which asks the justices to determine whether the law's whistleblower protections extend to employees at contractors and subcontractors of public companies if they face retaliation from their employers.
