Fox Loses Bid To Register Avatar-Related Trademark

Law360, Washington (November 14, 2013, 1:04 PM EST) -- The Trademark Trial and Appeals Board rejected Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp.'s request to register “Pandorapedia” as a trademark to use on clothing associated with its blockbuster movie “Avatar,” saying it was too similar to an existing sportswear line.
