Injunction Granted In Verigy Trade Secrets Case

Law360, New York (March 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has issued a preliminary injunction against a California technology company whose founder allegedly used trade secrets he learned while employed at Verigy Inc. to create a new product.

The Flash Enhancer memory card created by Silicon Test Systems Inc. was “substantially based upon Verigy's trade secrets,” Judge Ronald Whyte of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said in a ruling Friday.

The founder of STS, Romi Omar Mayder, worked at Verigy from 1998 to 2006.
