SAC Analyst To Say He Hid Insider Trading From Authorities

Law360, New York (November 15, 2013, 7:15 PM EST) -- Former SAC Capital Advisors LP analyst Jon Horvath will likely testify that he misled the hedge fund's compliance investigators by hiding his insider trading, prosecutors in the upcoming trial of an ex-SAC fund manager said Thursday.

Horvath, a government cooperator and key witness in the trial against ex-SAC portfolio manager Michael Steinberg, is expected to testify that he was not forthcoming about his insider trading when questioned by outside compliance lawyers, prosecutors said in a New York federal court filing.
