Law360, Los Angeles (January 1, 2014, 10:08 AM EST) -- Litigators in 2014 are gearing up for a rise in False Claim Act suits filed by insureds against health care providers as the Affordable Care Act expands coverage, as well as an uptick in lawsuits tied to the post-recession hangover, including litigation by public employee unions over pension plan cuts by bankrupt municipalities and age-discrimination claims by aging baby boomers staying in the workforce longer.
