Judge Tosses Suit Over Barr's Morning-After Pill

Law360, New York (March 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge on Tuesday dismissed a lawsuit filed against Barr Pharmaceuticals Inc. and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration after finding the plaintiffs had failed to prove that the agency's 2006 decision to allow the company to sell its Plan B emergency contraceptive pill without a prescription caused harm to consumers and pharmacists.
