Divided High Court Won’t Block Texas Abortion Restrictions

Law360, Los Angeles (November 19, 2013, 9:07 PM EST) -- A divided U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to vacate the Fifth Circuit's ruling allowing Texas to enforce a requirement that abortion providers have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital, with the majority finding that the challengers to the provision hadn't shown the lower court committed an error.
