GE Capital Pays $2B For Deutsche Postbank's Loan Portfolio

Law360, New York (November 20, 2013, 3:16 PM EST) -- A General Electric Co. subsidiary bought a £1.4 billion ($2.3 billion) portfolio made up largely of performing British commercial real estate loans from Deutsche Postbank AG, the company said Wednesday.

Norwalk, Conn.-based GE Capital Real Estate, the real estate wing of GE financial services subsidiary GE Capital, said it expects the deal to close by the end of the year.
