Retail Space Will Be Harder To Find In 2014, CBRE Says

Law360, New York (November 20, 2013, 6:17 PM EST) -- Real estate for the U.S. retail sector is expected to be scarce in 2014, with the availability rate for neighborhood and community shopping centers dropping to 10.6 percent, commercial real estate services firm CBRE Group Inc. said Wednesday.

The projected retail availability rate is a decline from the third quarter of this year, which stood at 12.3 percent and is down from a level of 12.7 percent logged at the end of 2012, according to CBRE.
