Dynegy Execs Sentenced In Fraud Case

Law360, New York (January 5, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A Houston judge has slapped two former Dynegy Inc. executives with prison sentences for their roles in the $300 million accounting fraud scandal caused by an illegal gas trading scheme.

Former Dynegy vice president Gene Foster will serve 15 months in prison and a $1,000 fine, while former accountant Helen Sharkey was sentenced to one month in prison and a $10,000 fine.
