Alexander & Baldwin Inks $373M Deal For Hawaii Properties

Law360, New York (November 21, 2013, 1:29 PM EST) -- Real estate developer Alexander & Baldwin Inc. will pay $373 million to pick up a portfolio of commercial properties in Hawaii from Kaneohe Ranch Co. LLC and the Harold K. L. Castle Foundation, the companies said Wednesday, as part of A&B's plan to migrate the majority of its business to the Aloha State.

In the deal, which is expected to close before New Year's Day, A&B has agreed to pay $260 million for the Kaneohe Ranch assets and $113 million to the HKL Castle Foundation. The...
