Grassley Wants DHS Pick To Explain Immigration Views

Law360, New York (November 21, 2013, 7:41 PM EST) -- Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, on Wednesday became the latest Republican lawmaker to threaten to block the confirmation of Jeh Johnson, President Barack Obama's nominee to serve as the next secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Grassley placed a hold on Johnson's nomination to be next Homeland Security secretary, joining Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., each of whom have placed holds on Johnson's nomination until their concerns or requests are addressed.
