Fed. Circ. Nixes Jury Award In Pistol Pipe Patent Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (November 21, 2013, 7:10 PM EST) -- A Federal Circuit panel on Monday overturned a jury's finding that a tobacco products wholesaler had willfully infringed a patent covering a pipe made to look like a pistol, reversing an enhanced damages award and sending the case back to California federal court to decide on attorneys' fees.
