Fla. Rail Service Reveals Fort Lauderdale Station Location

Law360, Miami (November 22, 2013, 2:23 PM EST) -- All Aboard Florida on Friday unveiled the location of a Fort Lauderdale stop for a planned passenger rail line, saying it will build a downtown station on NW 2nd Street, in close proximity to the city's central bus terminal and City Hall.

The privately financed Miami-to-Orlando train service, which parent Florida East Coast Industries Inc. has said it hopes to have running in 2015, will use the Florida East Coast Railway tracks that run along NW 2nd Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.
