NJ Court Affirms Refunds In Borough's Water Rate Hike Row

Law360, New York (November 22, 2013, 4:11 PM EST) -- A New Jersey appeals court ruled Friday that the Passaic Valley Water Commission imposed an unauthorized corrective rate hike on water service totaling 49 percent for the borough of Lodi, N.J., to make up for the fact that the borough's rates were lower than they should've been, entitling Lodi residents to refunds.
