Cuomo Rips NY Lawmakers Fighting Graft Panel Subpoenas

Law360, New York (November 25, 2013, 3:10 PM EST) -- Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Monday ripped New York lawmakers who are resisting subpoenas from his anti-corruption investigatory panel, telling reporters the fact that many elected officials have cooperated belies the argument that the demands unconstitutionally impinge on the Legislature.

In a telephone conference with reporters, the Democratic governor said a much-anticipated report from the Moreland Commission to Investigate Public Corruption would still likely come out Dec. 1, but he said he wouldn't rule out a delay as the subpoena fight unfolds in court.
