NY Lawmakers Cozying Up To Cash, Anti-Graft Panel Says

Law360, New York (December 2, 2013, 7:11 PM EST) -- Gov. Andrew Cuomo's investigators studying public corruption in New York issued a report Monday that cites "clear relationships between cash and legislative actions" and calls for comprehensive campaign finance reform, the creation of an agency to enforce election laws and tougher anti-graft and ethics laws.

The 101-page preliminary report was published by the Moreland Commission as its "robust and ongoing investigation" goes on — and as key lawmakers in Albany continued to resist subpoenas issued by the prosecutor-heavy panel.
