WaPo Building Sold To Real Estate Co. For $159M

Law360, San Diego (November 27, 2013, 10:14 PM EST) -- Real estate investment firm Carr Properties plans to buy the headquarters building of the Washington Post for about $159 million, the former owner of the newspaper announced Wednesday.

Graham Holdings Co. said it has agreed to sell the downtown Washington, D.C., building as well as land at 1100 15th St. NW. The sale, which still must go through a due diligence period, is expected to close at the end of March 2014.
