KBR Plaintiff Tries Again To Escape Arbitration

Law360, New York (March 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A former Halliburton Co. civilian contractor has asked a federal judge to reconsider his earlier decision forcing her sexual assault suit into arbitration, a last-ditch effort that comes after the judge ruled she could not appeal the arbitration order.

Tracy Barker, who has accused her former employer of ignoring her complaints of sexual harassment and assault and subjecting her to intimidation and retaliation, filed a motion for reconsideration Feb. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
