GAO Won't Reconsider Protest Of Booz Allen's IRS Contract

Law360, New York (December 3, 2013, 6:26 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Tuesday denied an information technology company's final protest of a support services contract with the Internal Revenue Service, finding the agency was justified in pulling the contract and giving it to Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. because of sequester cuts.

In denying Vinculum Solutions Inc.'s final appeal of a previous order quashing the bid protest, the GAO rejected the company's arguments that IRS agents conspired to give the contract to Booz Allen, instead of keeping it with Vinculum.
