Ex-Highland Exec Can't Rip Industry In Trial, Judge Says

Law360, Dallas (January 10, 2014, 9:13 PM EST) -- A Texas judge said Friday that an ex-Highland Capital Management LP executive, who's fighting a defamation suit and claiming the hedge fund owes him money, can't use an upcoming trial to rail against the financial industry, saying the case can't be compared to "The Wolf of Wall Street"-type business practices.
