DOE's IT Chief Says Gov't Contracting Could Use Makeover

Law360, Washington (December 4, 2013, 6:58 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Energy's information technology chief suggested Wednesday that an overhaul of the government contracting process may be necessary, saying the system is unable to keep up with technological change and may disadvantage startups and other small tech businesses.
