NYC Commuter Tax Could Raise $1.6B, Budget Office Says

Law360, New York (December 5, 2013, 1:57 PM EST) -- New York City could raise $1.6 billion in 2015 if it imposes a new progressive tax on commuters who work in NYC but live outside the city, according to a report released Wednesday by the city's independent budget office.
