Law360, New York (January 10, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has handed down another decision in the industry-wide struggle over patents for on-demand television systems, affirming a three-year-old lower court ruling that upheld a software company’s patents for connection management systems relating to digital video recorder technology.
The appeals court maintained a district court’s ruling that digital video systems company SeaChange Inc. infringed a patent held by business network provider C-Cor, formerly known as n-Cube.
