Patent War Ends Peacefully For Nokia and Kyocera

Law360, New York (January 10, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A lingering intellectual property dispute between two major telecommunications giants has ended in a patent licensing agreement that has resolved all pending litigation between the companies.

Top global mobile phone maker Nokia Corp. and Kyocera Corp., a leading supplier of electronic components and telecommunications equipment, said Tuesday they had reached a cross-licensing agreement over patents related to mobile phone technology products.
