Fisker Gets Nod To Keep Ch. 11 Plan On Fast Track

Law360, Wilmington (December 10, 2013, 8:23 PM EST) -- Fisker Automotive Holdings Inc. won approval for its disclosure statement Tuesday, after unsecured creditors assured a Delaware bankruptcy judge they were on board with the shuttered car maker's high-speed agenda to wrap up a sale and Chapter 11 plan just after New Year's.

At a hearing in Wilmington, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Gross initially questioned whether there was such a need for speed, noting that creditors previously described the case as proceeding at an “alarming pace,” particularly for a nonoperating entity.
