JDSU Puts Up $200M For Network Instruments

Law360, New York (December 11, 2013, 6:39 PM EST) -- Optical components maker JDS Uniphase Corp. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire computer networks manager Network Instruments LLC for $200 million in cash, the companies said Tuesday.

JDSU said the acquisition will strengthen its position in the enterprise, data center and cloud networking markets and will add talented employees to the company in areas such as research and development, sales, marketing and production.
