FCC To Take Stand On Net Neutrality At Comcast

Law360 (March 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Federal Communications Commission may soon take action against Comcast Corp. for network management practices that have raised concerns about network neutrality, the commission's chairman reportedly indicated in a speech.

FCC Chairman Kevin Martin said Friday that he was troubled that the cable giant initially denied slowing or blocking its users' access to certain file-sharing sites, before admitting that it was doing so, according to Reuters.
